Care after use

• Rinse off dirt with lukewarm water and wipe dry with a soft cloth.
• Avoid using detergents and do not scrub hard with a scrubbing pad as this may damage the wood.

Drying

• After washing, allow to dry naturally in a well-ventilated area.
• Avoid direct sunlight and humid places.

Long-term storage method

• Steamers are sensitive to moisture, so after completely drying them, wrap them in newspaper or something similar and store them in a well-ventilated place.
• To prevent insects from entering the steamer, it is a good idea to store some food-grade insect repellent together with the steamer (be careful not to let it come into direct contact with the steamer).

Bamboo steamers are durable, lightweight, resistant to water and moisture, and allow you to enjoy the original flavor of the ingredients. On the other hand, cedar steamers have a distinctive woody scent, making them ideal for Japanese cuisine and giving them a luxurious feel. It is recommended to choose one based on your purpose and preferences.
