The tip of the moribashi (serving chopsticks) used in Japanese cuisine is so thin that it can pick up even the smallest of objects, such as sesame seeds, and is still an essential tool for arranging delicate Japanese cuisine. Inspired by the moribashi, the Chef Tongs SP has an extremely thin tip for the tweezers, and a straight shape has been chosen to give a sense of unity with the fingertips. Each tong is hand-carved by the proud craftsmen of Tsubame-Sanjo to make the tip thin. The Chef Tongs SP, which combines the traditional Japanese culture of moribashi and the traditional craftsmanship of Tsubame-Sanjo, goes beyond the boundaries of Japanese cuisine and can be used in a variety of cooking scenes, regardless of Japanese, Western, or Chinese cuisine.
